I have 2 tree ferns planted in my garden they have taken a battering this winter i would like some advice regards getting them back into condition ,a had to remove all fonds thanks

On plant Dicksonia antarctica

Nothing you can do except give them usual care - water when weather's hot and dry. They've either made it through the winter or they haven't - if you didn't wrap them with thick layers of fleece for the winter, they probably haven't made it. It's a wait and see I'm afraid.

mine was looking very sorry for itself I was told to give it a sugary drink. Dilute some normal sugar in some water and give it that. Seems to have perked mine up. Hope it helps.
