It could be the cold spell were having ! but they dont need too much water untill they show fruit! you could be overwatering

i would say you are lucky if it is still alive,the weather is really to cold for them to be happy,but they dont like water on there stems,its the quickest way to kill them off.
as i found out in the past

I have also grown cucumber from seeds in pots this year in a cold conservatory but i have been bringing them into the main house as soon as the temperature dips in the evenings.
