hi all thanks for the advice ,got another question ,i have basil,coriader,mint and parsley ,i have then as i bought them in a small pot,i want to grow them inside the home so what would be the ideal pot size and will they grow in doors and what do i re plant them in (soil ,compost ,etc etc many thanks barry

I would choose 1 litre pots and use multipurpose compost. Your plants will enjoy a sunny windowsill and a mist spray once in a while. You will also need to feed regularly to keep them growing vigorously.
