my daffodils have not flowered
no flowers just green stems

Daffodils that do that are called "blind", and there are several different causes.

The most common cause is cutting the leaves off to soon the previous spring. The leaves need to stay on until they turn naturally brown, in order to collect enough energy for next year's bloom.

Another thing that causes daffodil blindness is lack of sun the previous year. They generally need at least a half day of direct sun while the leaves are green to collect enough energy.

Old, crowded clumps may not bloom, because the plants are competing with each other too much, but that usually causes reduced bloom, not no bloom.

Check those conditions and remedy, if needed, and see if things are better next spring.
