One question before I answer, are you saying the area is always in shade, permanent, deep shade?

Hi, it never gets direct sunlight but due to reflection I wouldn't say its in deep shade, if that makes sense.

Well I don't know how big the area is, but here's a few suggestions - Fatsia japonica; Mahonia aquifolium; Prunus Otto Luyken; Ruscus; Aucuba japonica, Lysimachia punctata, Primulas/Primroses, Convallaria, Tiarella, Tellima, Ajuga reptans, Lamium maculatum varieties.
