I was given a basket containing lots of little pots of narcissi for indoor use. Can I hang them up to drey and plant in the garden in autumn - or at any time? Will they flower outside?

Just harden them off (put them outside in the pot and bring them indoors at night, do this for 2 weeks) and then you can plant them straight in the garden. There's no need to dry them off. Cut off the leaves in June when they die off and wait for next year.
