Hello there, I was given a Salix Caprea Kilmarnock this spring. I've been told I should cut it down to about 15 cm but that seems very harsh. Could you please let me know if that is correct?

No it isn't - Kilmarnock willow is a weeping tree, unless that's not what you've got - usually sold at about 3/4 feet high, sometimes taller, and should not be cut down.

Definitely not as it is grafted, or at least my memory says it is, so if you cut if down you will cut below the graft.

How do I say thanks?
