I have noticed small flies emerging from my house plant compost. They are very tiny but very annoying. Could you tell me how to get rid of them please, I have numerous house plants with the same compost (house plant compost), so binning the plants isnt really what I want to do. Thnanks. H R. Sounds like fungus gnats or sciarid flies. There are specific insecticides sold for just such infestations. Check the info before using as some plants do not like these poisons.
