I have been given some Castor Oil Plant seeds will they be OK to grow in the UK as an annual

I think so Stevieg...I also was given some...soaked them in warm water over night to help soften them and then i peeled a little of the skin away to help with germination (the outer skin is very hard)....I used a little sharp knife to do this...I planted 4 in separate 3" pots and put them in my heated propagator...All 4 have germinated and im going to pot them on soom...hope this helps...:>)

Yes I have grown them and used them as 'dot' plants in the beds. They usually succumb in the first frosts. Remember they are very posionous if you eat any part of them.
