I have an evergreen clematis (snowdrift I think) which has been doing really well for the past two years. This year there have been masses of buds and although some have flowered, it looks as though all of a sudden the plant has completely wilted and has gone very droopy. It look as though it is dying. What do you think has happened?

Sounds like drought - is that possible where you are?
