My seemingly healthy and vigorous Parrota Persica never acheives the wonderful autumn colours for which it is renowned, It loses its leaves each autumn very soon after turning to hints of yellow.What is going wrong?

It may be a bad example. Not all seed grown plants have the best attributes, that's why varieties are chosen for most things. Is it in enough light? Or have you checked that it was correctly labelled when you bought it, and not something similar?
