have you been pruning it?

Pam's on the right track - if you've been pruning at the wrong time, you've cut off the flowering growths. Should be pruned lightly, removing dead growth, in spring once new growth has started, usually mid April. If you've not been cutting it wrongly, where is it - anywhere near trees? In a pot?
