They like a position in light shade or part sun at most with plenty of organic compost mixed into the soil. They look good under trees if you have borders under any though will go in a normal border too of course.

Got mine naturalised in grass around the base of a tree, mostely shady. They look good, but I must admit it makes mowing a tad tricky.

Guest, if you look through my pictures you will find a dwarf willow tree ; i have planted 3 hardy cyclamen's under there and they have done quite well under the tree
