I started a new set of 3 raised beds for vegetables last year but over winter the cats in the area think it is a special toilet for them what do I need to do to clean the soli before re use

If you can make/find some sort of coarse sieve with, say, quarter inch mesh, then you could riddle the soil through this and catch the poos. Again, Marigold gloves.

Put on your marigold gloves and remove the excrement. Cats prefer to use clean du over ground for their loo so don't leave uncovered longer than you hve to.
