Have you left them outside all winter??? I leave mine out covered in several layers of fleece but I live in Hampshire close to the south coast so its not so cold down here. If you scrape a little bit and see if they are still green inside you might get away with it.

If you mean Datura, then these will not flower until at least July. They need a lot of warmth and sun to flower.
