Hi! Ive got an area just outside my back door nestled between my extension and nxt doors which is always in the shade and is a damp area. I would like to put pots there, I have ivy and a hosta there but I need some ideas for shade loving plants which will grow in containers.

then there are some of the lilies like the martagon ones that are happy in shade. plant in a big pot though.

Do you like ferns? There are many beautiful ones that would enjoy those conditions. Geranium phaeum or G. macrorrhizum might also grow there, as would Tiarella cordifolia, T. wherryi, and Epimedium.
