I have what i think is a Cordyline australis which is about 7 feet tall and did have 3 green bunches of leaves on branches at top of tree, they came off during transit. How can I look after it and get it back to former plant. Has the frost damaged it and will it come back.

I'm confused - you say the leaves came off "during transit" - from where to where? Is it in a pot? Have you only recently acquired it? Was it outside all winter? If it was outside, it may well be suffering from the cold winter - you can try cutting it down by half next month and seeing if it grows from down the stem or the base, if there's no signs of growth at the top by then.
