I have a large ponytail palm in my front yard. The tree is about 15 feet high and has three trunks growing from the large base. I came home today to find that one of thr trunks had broken away from the base. Inside the break looks like some kind of rot, brown in color. What should I do?

On plant Beaucarnea recurvata

If the rot is in the base, you might find the whole plant dies - if its just that limb affected, pare back to the base to remove dead or infected tissue.

How do I say thanks?
