What are the requirements for germinating the kruidjie-roer-my-nie seeds. it"s not the major. It is the one with finer leaves that close up when touched. the flowers are pale pink, marble size pom poms.The seeds are circled by a " string with thorns " there are approximately 3 seeds per " string pod " and 3 to 4 pods per cluster.

This sounds like Mimosa pudica.
I have grown them in compost at about 18-20 degrees centigrade. I started them off in a propagator.
