Hi. We have a Phormium tenax, about 4 ft in height. This winters snow has battered the plant and the leaves are no longer upright, being severely bent and flattened. How do I get the plant back to it's formal glory? Should I prune it back or will the leaves regain composure?

Wait till the end of the month, then clip or pull off any dead, broken or dying leaves. It should regrow without any problem.
