Our Dicsonia antarctica has been wrapped in fleece for the winter but the fronds do not appear too well after what has been an unusally cold winter.Do I remove these and will the plant survive?

Check and make sure that the growing point (in the middle of the top) is firm and not mushy (ie rotted). Leave any trimming until spring really arrives as these will help to protect the plant too.
