I have a uncinia rubra ornamental grasse around 2 years old. It is situated in a small rockery and is of a good size but does it ever need cutting back or trimming? as its starting to look a little tatty at the edges any advice please.

I had some of these and last spring, I cut them back hard (almost to ground level). Within three weeks they were growing back again strongly. A light feed when it is cut back will help too
