I have a hemmerocalis festalis (correct spelling?) and to my dismay just as they come up with the flower stem they get attached by something. Can't see any snail trail but the stem is stripped for most of the length. Do you know the cause. I am rather plagued by snails and slugs in my garden despite evictions and even pellets. HELP I bought these at Hampton court and was very much looking forward to seeing them grow in my garden in Scotland.
