my leylandi border plants have been rooted in the ground for 8 months and a few of them are slightly yellowish on the edges are they frost damaged?

This is a Cupressocyparis x leylandii hedge? This should be fully hardy. Any chance of a picture? think you have to 'join' to post a picture - it's ok, you wont get any unwanted junk sent you.
