We have 60 self propagating runner beans growing in pots in the greenhouse (Firestorm.,we have strong healthy plants but the flowers are dropping off and not setting
We are located in the Orkney Isles ,can the experts please help.

Answers
Spray them with a mixture of 1 teaspoon Dettol in a
pint of water evenings. Insects are attracted by the
smell of the Dettol, but birds dont like it so they dont
knock off the flowers looking for insects. Leave the door
open. The insects pollinate the flowers.

Have you any insects to pollenate the flowers? They wont set if you don't.
