Freesias.
I've bought some Freesia corms and would like to grow them in pots in the greenhouse.. The planting instructions are for in the garden and say from March onwards. Would you suggest waiting till March for the pots or will now be okay?

Thanks for that Sue, the bag says from cultivated stock, that's all. Maybe I'll plant them in pots in March and keep them outside...at least I can place them where I like then...:o)

I tried some in the GH once but they grew limp n' leggy, I think they're better off outside.

Do you know if they are prepaired corms ? the oudoor varieties are normally planted in late March-April to flower August -October so I would hold fire. florist Freesias are normally grown by planting in July -August and left ouside till early Autumn the bought into the greenhouse and will flower in January(keep the greenhouse cool) Don't know if this will help!
