I thought a Campanula. The one with the very long name beginning with P. I'm viewing this on my phone and it's not so easy to jump about Web pages quickly. It's in my plant list.

Geum urbanum, Herb bennet. Wild flower. Roots smell vaguely of aniseed when bruised. Little yellow flower and a seedhead of hook-tipped seeds which are a beggar to get out of a dog's coat,
