I bought a Monach Horizon Rhododendrum last year. This year it looked as if it was going to flower but instead has given red leaf like bits giving way to growth shoots. So no flowers at all. Not sure why?

The flower buds possibly got frosted which would mean no flowers this year. Alternatively if you have alkaline soil where you live you will need to feed your rhodo sequestrine and mulch around it with acidic compost.
