Interesting question Scotkat, I have some really old fruit trees, and some youngsters and they, and the shrubs get a handful of gromore in the spring, we seem tohave plenty of blossom even after yesterdays gales
I hadn't thought of a specific food, or high potash, will be interested in other replies

Mine gets 'growmore' too, and I am very happy with it ... it has only failed to crop well once, and that was last year when due to the weather there just weren't the insects around to pollinate it.
