I have a Timperly early Rhubarb which has just started to get some stems and leaves , I also have one that comes on later and I was wondering what is the best form of manure to try and get better results than I did last season

They do well on well rotted manure. If your plants were newly planted for last year they wouldn't be expected to do well, and no stems should be pulled the first year. I manure mine in the autumn.
