My pieris flame has black spots on it leaves. Can I treat it the way you would with black spot on roses?

Un fortunately pieris ars susceptible to leaf spot, you can treat it with a copper fungicide spray after removing the dead or damaged leaves, remove any leaves lying on the ground, and spray again 2weeks later, Derek.
