i have decking offcuts using post cement and offcuts
deep beds would make my veg growing easier since im somewhat ancient!

As someone who has occasional back trouble, I'm a fan of raised beds even if it's only a few inches. In my 12X8 GH I have raised my beds to waist high and about 8" of soil.
