The only pruning advice on Viburnam in my book is "cut out old, central stems on specimen shrubs down to the ground in Spring" so I'd guess, if you want to be fierce with it, whichever one it is, spring is the time to do it, though if it flowers before June, after it flowers.

More importantly, when does it flower? That decides when you prune any shrub really. Generally speaking spring flowering stuff is pruned after flowering and later flowering stuff is pruned in winter or early Spring.
