I have a largush clump of calla lillies which have been growing in my pond.I want to split them. Is this ok.

I also have three smaller lillies in pots, will they be ok planted into my pond, or will they be better planted in a long container, if so how deep does it need to be ?? I live in UK

The Calla lilies (I assume are Zantedeschia aethiopica?) that are in the pond like most plants should be split up when dormant or just about to come into growth.
Are the ones in pots the same type?
Incidentally, are they/it the hardier variety 'Crowborough'?
