there is an underground water course ( stream) and about 120 suare meters is very wet all year .They have to withstand winter in aberdeenshire . Thanks

Put loads of peat in or ericaceous compost and grow Blueberries!

Fruit trees do not like sitting with their feet in water... basically they will drown. Take a look at bog garden plants which will be happy as clams.
