what is the best time of year to move a Hyderanger from one garden to another.
Thank You to Volunteer , Steragram, and Seaburn Girl. for your very helpfull answers.

I moved one last week, fearing I should have waited a few weeks but it looks fine at present! But it was a fairly young one - to move a maturer one I would wait until its dormant.

I'd move it in spring just before it starts into regrowth. But I would prune it down to the lower buds. you will not get flowers but it will have a better chance of rooting properly.

Yes, that's surely the best bet.

Don't forget to keep it well watered for all of next year until it gets its new root system going. Prune it back a bit if it's large.

How do I say thanks?
