My magnolia, planted a year ago in ericacious compost in a large pot and mulched in August with leaf mould, also kept well watered (tho' not often necessary with recent weather!) seems to have a problem: for the past couple of months the end 50 per cent or so of several leaves have turned brown and then dropped off. Nice fat buds are forming & it appears quite healthy other than the above. Any ideas?
