Can i feed my blackberry bush miracle gro?

United Kingdom Gb

The type of miracle i am using is: azalea, camellia & rhododendron soluble plant food. As raspberries are lime hating plants i assumed blackberry is too. I live in south wales blackwood

On plant waldo

We are on limestone here and our soil is highly alkaline, yet blackberries grow everywhere. You really shouldn't need to feed blackberries, even cultivated ones. I'd just give them a good mulch of well rotted compost to keep moisture in and to give them a nice slow feed. Anything else would be a waste of money and might mean lots more leafy growth and fewer fruit.
