Got a nasty case of Chafer Grubs

The blighters have demolished my two rows of beetroot seedlings and, after digging, my partner destroyed 10 of the little *****! What's best for the soil to deter them? Anyone know before I lose all my precious parsnips too?

Harrod Horticultural supply a nematode, 'Chafer Grub Treatment'. May be your best bet.

Thanks guys! Now I just need to translate all that info into Spanish and hope the large garden centre on the way to Santander has the right stuff.

Know anyone with a pet Rook?
Apart from that, very difficult as they could be anywhere in the soil.
Chemicals such as a Provado drench would kill them but probably best not use this on food crops.
Not sure if Derris is still about but prevention is better than cure I suspect.
