My problem is with my buxus plants in that they have turned a bright yellow colour and there is no new growth on them. Any ideas on how to cure this sickly plant. Thanks!

Hopefully it's not Box Blight!!! If it is, you will have to burn the plant as it is extremely contagious.
One of the most common problems I come across is a yellowing box plant and it's nearly always in a container, very rarely in open ground. The straw coloured leaved can be caused ironically by two extremes. To much drying out at the roots and too wet in the container.
I don't know if yours is in a container so I am pre-empting you here but this is the usual cause.
