I have just purchased some of these, are they perennial or biennial, if biennial will they self seed for next year.

In theory, Rudbeckia is grown as an annual only - however, I have Rudbeckia hirta "Marmalade" and have had it for 5 years - I notice the patch moves itself a bit, the original site dying out and popping up a bit further away. I haven't noticed it seeding itself.

i have several perenial ones:
Green wizard, Goldsturm and Herbstonne. so as a Genus they can be either. annuals may survive in a mild winter.

How do I say thanks?
