Rope Walker Between Two Washingtonia robusta (Mexican Fan Palm Trunks)

Rope Walker Between Two Washingtonia robusta (Mexican Fan Palm Trunks) (Washingtonia robusta)

This man was amazing at Pacific Beach, San Diego, CA. today! He was walking the rope at around 15ft (4.6m) high. Below was sand and to the left was a concrete sidewalk. Scary! Photo taken on a nice warm San Diego Day on Feb. 23, 2013.

Scary!! Reminds me of the story of Blondin crossing Niagra!

I don't like heights! I would never do this. I spoke with him and he said he and his friend do this all the time. They get a lot of attention. There's a lot of people who hang out at Pacific Beach (it's a very popular beach all year), San Diego.

I don't mind some height but others make me feel funny. I definitely couldn't do that!

Lulu33:

Yes, it was a flat rope. It would be suicide if it were a regular rope.

Dottydaisy2:

Yes, I would think so...lots of practice (at a much lower height!).

Yes, I don't think I would want to learn...as I'm afraid of heights.
