I love the smell of this plant. Planted 3 of them close to the enrtance. Sort of vanilla-ish? I hope I still will be able to smell them when we come home in April.
Yours is well advanced Plantoholic.

i bought it last year and it had flowers on, there are a few berries but no flowers ~ have i put it in too shaded an area?

It should be fine in the shade, mine gets very little sun and I also have a S.confusa in full shade which is also flowering well.:o)

maybe i just have to be patient, i was going to buy another little one but they weren't cheap!
bought a lily of the valley ~ thats out now instead plus a double white hellebore!

Double white Hellebore sounds nice, I have a love hate relationship with Lily of the valley I love the scented flowers but it's a bit invasive.

Mine is full shade as well and it is doing well.
