Hi Meanie, this was given to me by a neighbour in spring, it's been lovely. Can you advise how to collect the seed please, I have a few faded flowers but I can't see the seed.? Thank you

The seed is carried inside a tan coloured, papery, ball shaped seed pod which is carried under the sepals which remain after the flower has gone.

Thank you so much Meanie, I will investigate. It's really nice and i would like to keep growing.

Don't cut it back. Instead try storing it pretty nearly dry in the garage over the winter. It can work.

Can it!? Thank you, I will do that and try and collect seed
