The wind was so strong it has ripped off the twine which I used to hold the leaves together to protect the growing flower heads.

Will they be OK, SG?
I hate the wind, not only for the damage it does, but as I work outdoors I find it makes me bad tempered!

join the club Pottyg. Being an anaemic soul I find the effect of the wind increases the blood quality. It is shade that is my bugbear. Yes they will be alright I have retied them and they looked all right. We live in windy corner so I need to take these precautions.

Interesting how the weather affects us so much..... Glad your plants will be OK, we do learn how to deal with our own weather peculiarities!
