That's a real shame Stroller, but we had exceptionally low temperatures this winter. They are frost hardy to -10c but it's been as low as -15c in most places. This is the houseplant one, my Kleims hardy have come through but need a bit of nursing.

It's in it's third year and I need to repot it soon as it is bursting out of the pot. Thanks for commenting on it guys.

Gardenia Jasminoides 'Kleim's Hardy' (Gardenia)
£18.99 at Crocus

Is this the Kleims hardy Homebird, it looks a sturdy healthy plant.
I lost mine this winter I only bought it last April and put it in a pot which I tucked between the shrubs when we had the harsh winter weather but it perished.
A lesson learned eh.
