No, Pp, it's a low-growing evergreen shrub. Thanks, Petal and yes, K - even more than last year! :-))

That is doing well....

Yes, it is. I spotted some at the GC on Sunday, but they were £27.99 (!!!) and I've spent rather a lot this month, so I left them there.

I don't blame you, we have spent a small fortune this last month.

Do you know, Dd - I can't get the bigger one out of my mind...I'm considering whether to make the rather long trip to buy it. Hmmm...

Oh dear, I know that feeling, only too well!! We have our local plant sale on Saturday, they hold 3 a year, the plants are all half price for really good sized specimens, the nursery supplies GCs all over the country, this is surplus stock, I really should not be buying any more plants, I am running out of room, but, I have to go, just in case, I hate to miss a bargain!!

that's very pretty.

Guess who went and bought the second one! I don't feel a bit guilty, either. On Sunday there were lots of them. On Wednesday there were only three left, so my impulse to go was right, or I'd have regretted it for ever.
Have fun, Dd, and I hope you find something lovely.

Well done you ......I would have done the very same thing...I did manage to find 4 lovely plants, not too large!!they will stay in the porch until the winds die down.....
10 May, 2014
Well done, Dd. Yes, the wind is wrecking my plants and there's nothing I can do about it. <sigh>

The Clems have really suffered, so delicate at this time of the year....
12 May, 2014
Yes, mine too. The montanas are bare of flowers already.
