Yesterday Rick and I made this gate.
There is a close between my neighbour and I, and we were fed up of people (mostly tennagers) going down it and drinking etc, so we decided we would put a gate up.
I got all the wood from a building site nearby..for nothing! Haha Oh the power of fluttering your eyelashes at builders lol!
SO all it cost us were the fixings which came to 30pounds(sry pound sign not working on here lol)
It took us only 3hours to make and fix up, so that was good going. Thank God for Rick! He is amazing..works so hard, I was just his labourer really.
I still have to paint it when I can afford some paint!

Thats a great gate Pixi. It would also look good stained which would be cheaper than paint and quicker to.

That's a really functional and attractive gate, Pixi...a job well done. Totally necessary to get the privacy you need; it can't have been pleasant having kids trapsing through and drinking etc.

Off to read your other blogs now...welcome to GoY from me. This is the first time I've seen your name pop up... you'll enjoy the site and the members' gardens I'm sure :)
