thanks - i am really pleased with how this bed is going now - its taken a few attempts to get it just right, but i think we are there now - i planted it in memory of my dearly departed dog 'Buddy' he had a very vibrant personality to say the least so i have gone for really vibrant colours! in the winter red and blue, then in early spring it is blue and yellow, late spring and summer will be red and blue - at the inbetween stage at mo - the reds should start any time now, i have the camellia at the front of the pic which is a bright red, just starting to show colour, some bright red tulips, a red ginger - for later on in the year, and also a deep blood red rose (i scattered buddys ashes around the base of the rose when i planted it!) - and this bed was buddys favorite bone burrying area! lol - not bones trees lol- but lots of lovely colour for him!
