If you live in the Saffron Walden area (Essex England) and would like to buy some hazel rustic poles or pea sticks for your garden projects (instead of the imported bamboo canes that have travelled loads of air miles and are not that attractive) then you may be interested in contacting my partner Andy who coppices poles from local woods - coppicing is an ancient way of woodland management and rustic poles and pea sticks are cut in a sustainable and renewable way. There is a website which may interest you : www.coppice-products.co.uk. National Bean Pole week runs from 19th to 27th April 2008. If you are in the Saffron Walden area and are interested in finding out more or buying some poles or pea sticks then they will be on sale outside Goldstone's Farm in Ashdon and also will be in my front garden in Rickling Green (white cottage near the red post box) Andy's mobile number is 07971 642243
